Happy Hour

Sunday through Friday: 4 to 6 p.m.

Unwind at the end of the day with delicious local fare and the finest beachfront views at the Marine Room’s popular Happy Hour. Guests are invited to enjoy the sunset views from our comfortable lounge and explore our new gourmet small plate menu for $10 each and relax with a well cocktail or select global wine – just $8 each.

Each month Chef Bernard, Chef Ron and Advanced Sommelier Lisa Redwine present a selection of three dishes that are in perfect harmony with one wine.

This month features 09 Chardonnay, Domaine Barat, Côte de Lechet, 1er CruChablis, France. The twenty year old vines produce a classic style of Chablis that offers distinctive lemon and grapefruit aromas. On the finish there is a lingering minerality. Enjoy it alongside our Lemon Thyme Scented Avocado Fritters, Ocean Trilogy Tasting or Fennel Pollen Spiced Maine Diver Scallops.

Savor a three-course menu featuring appetizers, a choice of Lobster Tail preparations including Pistachio Butter Basted Lobster Tail, and dessert trilogy. Cost is $50 per person, $75 with wine pairing.

Grunion Run Late Night Happy Hour

Friday, May 24, from 9 to 11 p.m.
Saturday, June 8, from 9 to 11 p.m.

We're extending our Happy Hour menu into the evening on three special days this spring in anticipation of the famous grunion run when the fish ride the tide up to the sandy beach to lay their eggs. Our unique location offers a front row view of La Jolla Shores and the opportunity to catch a glimpse from our lounge or to meet up before an evening beach excursion. Summer sunday Brunch

Beginning Father's Day, Sunday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Through Labor Day, Sunday, September 1

The Marine Room kicks off a new summer tradition this Father’s Day with Summer Sunday Brunch. The menu include brunch favorites like Verbena Star Anise Salmon Gravlax, Signature Crepes La Jolla, Glaze Honey Cider Brined California Turkey Breast and Patisserie treats from our pastry chef. Cost is $48 per person.
